I probably have more than a thousand pictures and hundreds of videos taken in the last year. I share them with family and friends using online albums, but I’ve always wanted to do more with them. With muvee Reveal I was able to make my very own movie.
This program is so easy to use. I didn’t read the instructions, which I tend to do with every new toy that I get. You just add the photos, videos and music you want and it automatically edits them to make your movie. There are 10 free styles you can choose from to set the mood.
One feature that I really like is called MagicMoments. When you add videos, the programs automatically selects the clips to include in your movie. With MagicMoments, with a click of a thumbs up or down button, you get to pick which clips from the videos you want included and exluded.
When you play your movie, tips come up on the bottom of the screen. It will tell you if you have too many photos or videos and what you can do to make your movie a little better.
Another feature I like is the Share button. It allows you save your movie in many different formats. You can save it for playback on your computer, burn to a DVD, share in a private online album, or save and export into your iPod, PSP or pocket PC.
It took me less than an hour to make my first movie clip. It would have taken less than that, but I took too much time trying to pick out what pictures and videos I would put in. Take a look at the final product.
