Kraft Sizzling Salads Review and Giveaway

I love making and eating salads, but it’s always hard trying to find the right combination of salad dressing and meat flavour. Trial and error usually results with me having about 3-4 different salad dressings in my refrigerator that I don’t end up finishing before it goes to waste.

Kraft has now made it easier.

New KRAFT SIZZLING SALADS are a chef-inspired line of entrée salad kits that allow you to create delicious, warm entrée salads at home in 4 simple steps! Each kit contains a perfectly paired cooking sauce and dressing. Available in Chicken Caeser, Greek Chicken, Southwest Chicken and Asian Chicken salad varieties. I was sent the Greek Chicken Salad Kit to try out. It consists of Lemon Oregano Cooking Sauce and Mediterranean Feta Salad Dressing.

It was really easy and quick to prepare. All I had to do was cook the chicken strips in oil until done, then add 2-3 tbsp. of the Lemon Oregano Cooking Sauce, cook until the chicken’s coated. Toss the salad with the Mediterranean Feta Salad Dressing. The package even has suggested salad ingredients. Plate the salad then put the chicken on top. Serve warm. That’s it!

How did it taste? It was really good. The mild sourness of the cooking sauce went well with the saltiness of the feta dressing.

What else did I think of the kit?

• The quickness of the meal preparation really appealed to me. As a full-time working mom, when I get home, I just want to get dinner fixed as quick as possible so that I/we have time to relax in the evening.
• I wish they’d make a low sodium version of the kits. I didn’t look at the information before, but now that I have, I won’t be using the kit as much as I want to.

Kraft also came up with new refrigerated dressings.
