Remember this post from a month ago?
Well, after all the progress we made moving DD to her own bed, she’s back in our room. The summer heat is really getting to her. She has always been warm/hot at night; doesn’t like blankets even in the winter, and would rather sleep wearing just her diapers.
Even then she’d be so sweaty. I thought she wet the bed, but it was sweat. So, we decided to get a portable air conditioner. Of course we set it up in our bedroom. That’s how she ended back with us.
It’s not bad. Since it’s cooler, she’s not as fussy when she’s in bed with us. If she is, then I just transfer her to her little sofa bed that’s set up beside our bed.
Everyone’s happy and getting some sleep. As soon as it cools again, we’ll revisit moving her back to her own bed.
